Recent New Orleans Snaps

Just some pictures from around town that didn't quite fit elsewhere.

Beautiful morning on the way to volunteering at the Farmer's Market. Wish that weather had lasted - it's been rainy as hell this past week.

Chartres Street during Southern Decadence weekend. THOSE pictures will be going up soon.

Seafood salad with shrimp and crabmeat at Deanie's. One of my favorite hot-weather meals, especially with the artichoke-balsamic dressing. Yum.

Kettle corn from Ye Olde Kettle Cooker, at the Crescent City Farmer's Market. Great guy, and even greater popcorn. Don't miss the habanero flavor.

More popcorn.

Oh sweet heaven...kettle corn. I have a particular weakness for sweet and salty goodness.
