Sacramento foodies should check out the Cookbook Club, a new book from some Sacto area writers with some great ideas for putting together excellent gatherings. The included ecipes from cookbook clubs across the nation are top notch, encompassing cuisines from Greek to Thai to Creole. The authors provide a great template for putting together your very own cooking club - and what better way to eat great food with your friends and get some assistance with post-gorging clean up? I recently made the vindaloo and roasted cauliflower and peas with tomato chutney and raita and was very much impressed by the authenticity of the flavors - a pictorial will be going up soon!
